The club are delighted to have completed their ninth Summer signing with the arrival of the highly rated Peterborough United striker, David Ball, on a three year contract for an undisclosed fee, subject to a medical on Tuesday morning.

Manchester-born Ball , age 22, scored 9 league goals in just 13 starts for the Posh. The Manchester City Youth graduate has also enjoyed spells on loan at both Swindon Town and Rochdale. Steve Curwood, Town's Chief Executive said – ‘’We have been working extremely hard, for a number of weeks, in trying to bring David to the club and are delighted this has now been achieved.  David was identified very early, as a key target, and we now can’t wait to see him involved.’’ David will be available for selection at Stockport County tomorrow once the medical and final paperwork has been concluded.
