Coming all the way from Portsmouth, Scott McLachlan is a man on a mission. He aims to visit each and every one of the Football League clubs within 8 months in an amazing journey - all in the need of raising awareness for Prostate Cancer.
Scott has his own project, named 'Walkthe92', and a blog which he updates constantly. This can be viewed at
www.walkthe92.co.uk.
"Aside from setting me a very daunting challenge and, hopefully, achieve a great personal vision, I aim to do a lot of good things for a lot of people. I hope that once the project is well known there will be some press momentum"
"This is also an open idea and people are welcome to join me to walk stages or legs with me and help fundraise as I go. One aim is to have a fan or group of fans look after me when I reach every club and arrange my time at that club. Once the idea has been launched fully, I am very hopeful it will attract ideas and enthusiasm."
Scott is pictured above with Captain Cod and striker Jon Parkin. When asked about Scott's journey, Jon said, "It's a hard task but he's a good man and it's for a great cause and I wish him well on his journey."
Fleetwood Town was club number 39 on his journey.
