Morecambe visit Highbury on Boxing Day and many will have happy memories from September at the New Globe. Over a 1,000 travelling Cod Army saw Town take the Shrimps apart with Jon Parkin contributing a hat-trick.
Tickets for the Boxing Day derby are on sale now for all home areas of the Highbury. Morecambe have been allocated the Percy Ronson Stand and blocks F&G. The Parkside Hospitality Suite is full but Jim’s Sports Bar is open from 11am with Nottingham Forest hosting Leeds United at 12.15.
Tickets are also on sale for the visit of York City on Saturday 29th December who some Parkside Suite tickets still available. Junior Brown and substitute Steven Gillespie scored in either half as Town excellently soaked up early pressure from the home side in the corresponding fixture in early October.
The final game of the holiday period is the away trip to Port Vale on New Years’ Day. Town will be looking to redress the balance after Vale took three points from Highbury in September. Travel costs £15 and coaches depart at 10.30.
