Fleetwood Town’s official mascot Captain Cod did his first official opening today when he cut the ribbons at Seniors new shop in Bispham.

The funkiest fish in town was joined by Sharkey and Sunny from the Sealife Centre. This caps a busy week for the club’s mascot who has been on the Football League Show and Soccer AM! In other club news, midfielder and second year professional Liam Wynn has joined Evo-Stik Premier Kendal Town on loan. Defender Shaun Beeley was guest on the latest nOpwer Football League podcast. Shaun joined Mark Clemmit along with Portsmouth manager Michael Appleton, Bolton boss Owen Coyle and ex-player turned pundit Bradley Allen. The podcast can be found here.
