To celebrate its christening of the club’s state-of-the-art Parkside Stand as the BES Parkside Stand, the commercial energy supplier is offering all Cod Army fans an equal opportunity of winning a superb football prize from the Fleetwood Town squad.

As home fans arrive at the Highbury Stadium, they will be photographed by a club official and entered into a BES Face in the Crowd contest, played out on the 25-metre square big digital screen.  This is just one of the impressive facilities at the ambitious club, playing in nPower League 2 this year following promotion from the Football Conference. While the high impact screen normally shows action replays and powerful advertisements and promotions on behalf of club sponsors wishing to build their brand, it will this season also be the vehicle through which the BES Face in the Crowd contest works. At a set time on match day, all of the images of fans taken at the gates will be streamed on to the screen in super-fast motion.  The screen will freeze on the image of one of the fans photographed, making them the lucky winner of the signed football, courtesy of BES. Thanks to the screen’s functionality, the contest will be simultaneously played on the 60 plasma screens around the ground’s bar and hospitality areas, just as a sponsor’s advertisement would be shown.  In this way, no fan or their mates should have an excuse for missing the footage and realising they are a winner. Fleetwood Town’s Business Development Manager, Dave Riche, says: “The big screen is already a magnet when it comes to attracting fans’ attention, but it should now be even more popular, thanks to this BES competition.  We are looking forward to seeing a real buzz generated around this contest, which should help build the atmosphere within the ground and the level of interaction with our fans”. The first run of this BES Face in the Crowd contest will be on Monday, August 13, when Fleetwood Town play Nottingham Forest in the Capital One Trophy round one match.  The first home match at which it will be played will be the August 18 fixture versus Torquay United. With 23 league games during the season, plus cup games, there will be at least 25 opportunities to win a signed football in the 2012-13 season, courtesy of BES Commercial Gas Ltd. BES Gas is the main club sponsor for the 2012-13 season at Fleetwood Town FC, with BES electric being the Associate Club Sponsor.  Both energy suppliers are able to offer commercial customers substantial savings on their energy bills, of up to 40 per cent on gas and up to 50% on commercial electricity. While the club sponsorship opportunities are already taken, there are other brand-building sponsorship options available at Fleetwood Town FC and other exciting ideas about use of the high impact screen are welcomed.  Similarly, hospitality packages are available in the luxurious stand, which was part of a £4.5 million re-development of the BES Highbury Stadium.  Businesses interested in this should contact Dave Riche on 07854 846820, or email dave.riche@fleetwoodtownfc.com
