Fleetwood Town officially launched their eSports team in January 2018 – becoming the third team in the UK to create one - and instantly formed a professional ‘FIFA Pro Clubs’ team, who compete in Virtual Pro Gaming’s Premier League on PlayStation 4.

The ‘Pro Clubs’ side, who are captained by YouTube celebrity John ‘JCC’ Charles and managed by Jonny ‘xj101’ Peniket, started its journey in League Two and, after three consecutive promotions, will be competing in the sites top division come February.
Fleetwood currently compete against seven other professional teams which include Oxford United, Port Vale, Rotherham United, Scunthorpe United, Southend United, Tranmere Rovers, and Queens Park Rangers.

VPG are a democratic group of hardworking people, all with different skill sets coming together to create something amazing. The team has members from all over the world, all of which offer something important to contribute to VPG. The site now has over 30,000 active users.
Instead of mimicking the designs from a game, they created their own feel to showcase who they are and showcase their extensible platform.
