The club’s free membership scheme will continue in 2012-13.
The membership card will also become your ‘match ticket’ when attending games, and will have a bar code which is read by the new automatic turnstiles.
FAQs
How much does the scheme cost?
The scheme is free of charge
How and when can I apply?
You can apply now by downloading the application form above and returning to the club at Highbury Stadium.
Click here to download the membership application form.
Will I be able to get membership on a matchday and enjoy the cheaper prices?
Yes we will issue memberships on match days from the new ticket office. It is a very straight forward process and will take just a minute of your time.
Who can become a member?
Everybody is eligible.
What about Season Ticket Holders?
A season ticket holder will automatically become a member and enjoy the other future benefits anticipated for the scheme. Their season ticket will also be a single ‘card’, very much the same as the membership card, but will detail the area of the ground, and seat details (if seated), for where it is to be used.
The season ticket will also allow upgrades on line or at the ticket office. Eg. If a terrace season ticket holder would like to sit down for a specific game, or purchase ‘VIP hospitality’. It will also be able to add ‘cup games’ to the ticket, again either on-line or in person.
Is this not a bit complicated?
We appreciate this is new and may take a little bit of getting used to, but once we are up a running we feel supporters will feel the benefit and be happy with the scheme. The system is in place at a number of League 2 clubs and all the way up to the Premier League, all whom are running the scheme effectively.
Can I still pay cash on match days?
Yes by simply presenting the membership card to the ticket office, and paying the price of entry. The card will then be validated for access to the ground.
How do I buy tickets online using my membership?
The new ticket shop on the website will remember your details when you enter your name or membership number, and once you have then paid for a match, your membership card will then be validated for the match or matches purchased (You can buy as many specific games as you want at any one time).
Can I choose a specific seat?
For most matches it will be ‘unreserved seating’ with only Season Ticket Holder Seats having labels on them as permanently reserved.
What turnstile do I use?
Anyone purchasing Parkside tickets will need to use the turnstiles at the rear of the Parkside Stand. Those using the Highbury Stand and Memorial Terrace will need to enter the turnstiles at on Jims Bar Car Park. Your ticket will be clearly marked.
What if I forget my card or lose it?
The cards can be easily replaced or cancelled, to stop anyone else getting access to the ground.
What else can I do with my card?
We hope to grow the scheme once the club and fans become familiar with it. The card is capable of being used in the club shop, snack kiosks, and bars, to take advantage of deals and special offers, and can actually be used as a payment method if ‘pre-loaded’ with cash.
Is the system open to abuse?
No, each bar code will only work once. If a ticket is copied or passed back to someone else in the queue it will not work once it has been used by someone else.
