Fleetwood Town earned the signature of midfielder Harvey Macadam from Northern Premier League Premier Division side Ashton United for an undisclosed fee back in January 2022.
The Cods fought off a host of EFL clubs for Macadam’s signature, signing him to a two-and-a-half-year deal after he became an ever-present in the Ashton side this season. He featured in 20 league games as well as five cup ties across three different competitions.
Macadam previously played for Nelson FC in the First Division North ahead of joining Ashton back in February 2020, where he played 16 games, with 15 of those in the league. Since joining Town, he’s managed to find the back of the net twice – once against Crewe Alexandra and another in a win over Burton Albion.
