Stephen McMullan signed a two-year contract with the Cods in Summer 2022. McMullan started his career in the NIFL Championship with Warrenpoint Town, who as a young player, made 10 professional appearances in place of their number one.
The goalkeeper had impressed during his performances for Town’s Under 18’s, contributing to the team getting to the fourth round of the FA Cup. This earned the young goalkeeper a long-term contract extension in 2023.
He made his first team debut in April 2023 against MK Dons in a 1-0 win for The Cods, meaning he kept a clean sheet on his first senior start. McMullan has represented his country at all levels, including the Under-19s, Under-21s and recently at senior level.
