Come and cheer the U18s on at Highbury tonight

Fleetwood Town host Accrington Stanley in the first round of the FA Youth Cup at Highbury tonight, 7.30pm kick-off, as they look to build upon Saturday's 3-2 league victory over Morecambe.

Two goals from Louis Myers and a timely header from captain Michael Muscat gave the young Cod Army a deserved win against their Fylde Coast rivals.

All fans will be situated in the Parkside Suite with the cost £2 for adults and £1 for U16s and Over 65s. Supporters will be able to enter the ground from the main entrance, with doors opening at 6pm.

Hot food will be available and the bar is open straight away. The Club will also be showing Arsenal and Liverpool’s Champions League games on the TV screens.

Heading into the Youth Cup fixture itself, Town boss Craig Madden has no real fresh injury concerns, and has a full squad to pick from following the return of Louis Myers to the first team fold in the win over the Shrimps.

Stanley will be hoping for another positive cup run following last season’s exploits, where they knocked out the likes of West Ham United and Bristol City on-route to the last 16, however coming up short against Reading at that stage.

They head into the tie having come off the wrong end of a 4-0 defeat at home to Oldham Athletic in their last Youth Alliance League fixture, so will be hoping to come back stronger against a buoyant Fleetwood side .

The East Lancashire outfit will be looking to Tyler Scarth to provide the goods for them, as they make the trip to the Fylde Coast.

Stanley are likely to be without key player Max Hazeldine, who recently broke into the first team at the club, with the winger recovering from an injury.

Fleetwood will be hoping for a similar performance from their last game with Accrington, with goals from Conway and Myers sealing a 2-1 win at the Store First Stadium back in August.
