Former Manchester City man has signed a 12 month deal
Fleetwood Town can confirm that defender Stephen Jordan has signed a one year contract extension at Highbury Stadium.Jordan enjoyed a fine campaign for Town last season and impressed the Cod Army faithful with a number of commanding displays.
Manager Graham Alexander was delighted to have signed the former Manchester City defender for another season, and hopes he can carry his form into the coming campaign.
He said: “He had a fantastic season last year when we moved him to centre half. We had the fourth best defence in League One and he played a major part in that.
“He gives us great experience and balance as a left footed centre half, and we know he can play left back too so it was great to get him signed on.”
