All the odds for this weekend's League One fixtures

Peterborough United v Bristol City

Sky Bet League 1 leaders Bristol City are favourites to take three points against Peterborough at Posh’s newly-renamed Abax Stadium on Friday night.  The Robins are 6/4 to extend the gap at the top of the table to four points ahead of Saturday’s games, with Posh given a 17/10 chance of a home win. A draw is on offer at 12/5, but on average Peterborough are losing one in three at home in the league this season, so there is a good case for backing an away win. Bristol City duo Aaron Wilbraham and Kieran Agard head the first goalscorer betting at 9/2. Peterborough’s top contender is Kyle Vassell at 5/1.

Top Tip: Kyle Vassell and Kieran Agard both to score at 5/1

Sheffield United v Notts County

Promotion chasers Sheffield United and Notts County go head-to-head at Bramall Lane in Sky Bet League 1 on Friday night. The Blades have moved up to fifth, just six points off leaders Bristol City with a game in hand, after a win and draw in their last two matches, while the sixth-place Magpies suffered a shock home defeat last time out against lowly Yeovil.  The Blades are 3/4 odds-on favourites to take all three points and head into the match having won two and drawn two of the last four meetings between the sides in South Yorkshire – both those wins were 2-1 and a repeat this time is 15/2 with the Football League sponsor.  County however are unbeaten on the road this season in League 1 and can be backed 15/4 for the win. The draw is a 5/2 option.  Both sides have scored in each of their last 11 meetings dating back 20 years so that looks a safe bet at 10/11.

Top Tip: Draw and both teams to score at 7/2

Barnsley v Scunthorpe United

Barnsley are firm favourites to claim all three points when they host improving Scunthorpe on Saturday. Chesterfield ended the Tykes’ three match unbeaten run in Sky Bet League 1 last weekend but the hosts will be confident on their own patch having scored seven goals in their last three league matches at Oakwell.  Barnsley are also unbeaten in their last six matches against the Iron in South Yorkshire, although three of those matches ended in draws – it’s 7/2 for the match to end in a 1-1, 2-2 or 3-3 draw. Scunthorpe are on the up under Mark Robins and he returns to his former club having seen his new charges lose only one of their last six matches. The Iron have scored two goals in each of their last three matches and are 14/1 shots to score exactly two goals on Saturday.  Sam Winnall has been in good form for the hosts of late and is 5/1 to net the opener and 11/8 to score in 90 minutes, while Paddy Madden is the pick of the Scunthorpe attack at 7/1 to net first.

Top Tip: Sam Winnall to score first at 5/1

Bradford City v Leyton Orient

Bradford are 11/8 favourites to pick up all three points but Leyton Orient will still fancy their chances given the Bantams disappointing home form in Sky Bet League 1. Phil Parkinson’s men have won just two of their nine league games at the Coral Windows Stadium so far and had to settle for a point last week on home soil courtesy of Gillingham’s injury time equaliser. Another draw is available at 23/10 while the visitors are 9/5 for their fourth victory on the road this term. David Mooney is the favourite in the Orient ranks to score the opening goal of the game at 6/1 and is 3/1 to score in an Orient win. On-loan Bradford striker Jon Stead has been favoured to top scorer James Hanson recently and is 11/2 to score the opener.

Top Tip:  Both teams to score at 8/11

Coventry City v Walsall

Coventry go into this Midlands derby in Sky Bet League 1 as 6/4 favourites but in truth the bookies are struggling to separate them. Walsall look to have the edge on current form having lost just one of their last seven games in league and cup. They are 7/4 to pick up the three points and it is 21/10 for the draw. Tom Bradshaw has led their recent revival with six goals in his last seven outings and he is 7/4 to score anytime and 3/1 to be on the mark in a win for the visitors. The Sky Blues have just two wins in their last 11 league games but should be boosted by a 1-0 success last time out at Colchester. The Coventry goals have been shared around the team with four players having bagged three and one of them, Frank Nouble is 6/1 favourite in home ranks to score the game’s opening goal.

Top Tip: Under 2.5 goals at 4/6

Crawley Town v Chesterfield

Chesterfield ace Eoin Doyle was back on the goal trail after a six-match drought last weekend and  is 11/8 to lead the Spireites to victory with another strike in the visit to Crawley. Sky Bet League 1’s top scorer took his tally to 16 with both goals in the 2-1 win over Barnsley and is 7/2 to score the opener at the Checkatrade.com Stadium. The visitors are 19/20 favourites to pick up the three points with the draw available at 5/2 and a Crawley win on offer at 14/5. Crawley have just one win in their last seven but four of those have been draws and Sky Bet offers 10/1 for a 0-0 scoreline or 100/30 for a 1-1, 2-2 or 3-3 outcome. Veteran striker Izale McLeod heads the Crawley goal chart with seven, including three in his last four league and cup games. He is 11/2 to score the opening goal and 100/30 to score in a home win.

Top Tip:  Draw and both teams to score at 100/30

Crewe Alexandra v Doncaster Rovers

Crewe will look to bounce back from their heavy defeat last weekend when they host Doncaster  and are 11/5 to bag their first win in five Sky Bet League 1 games. A run of three successive wins in October raised hopes of a long-term change of fortunes but they have slipped back in recent weeks and will see the visit of an inconsistent Rovers side as a chance to pick up again. The Railwaymen’s last two league and cup games at Gresty Road have ended in goalless draws – on offer at 10/1 this weekend. Doncaster’s have picked up 15 of their 21 points on the road and are 6/5 favourites to make it an impressive six wins in nine games away from the Keepmoat. The draw can be backed at 12/5.

Top Tip:  Draw and both teams to score at 3/1

Gillingham v Port Vale

Port Vale put their mini revival to the test at Gillingham and are 13/8 to make it four wins in five in Sky Bet League 1. Despite their improved form Vale have won just two games on the road this season and the Gills will start the game as 6/4 favourites with the draw on offer at 5/2. Peter Taylor’s men are unbeaten in three in league and cup and boast a decent home record having won four and drawn three of their nine games at Priestfield. The Gills won the corresponding game last season 3-2 and Sky Bet offers 25/1 for a repeat scoreline at the weekend.

Top Tip: Under 2.5 goals at evens

MK Dons v Colchester United

MK Dons are odds-on favourites at 4/6 to gain the three points at home to Colchester and maintain their place among the pacesetters in Sky Bet League 1. Karl Robinson’s men are currently third favourites for the title at 6/1 an 11/8 shot for promotion to the Sky Bet Championship. The Dons also boast the best home record in the division having lost just one of their nine league games at stadium:mk so far this term, scoring 20 goals which is also the highest in the division.  A 2-0 home win is available at 8/1 while 3-0 is on offer at 14/1. Colchester have lost three league games on the spin but took five points out of six against the Dons last season including a 0-0 in the corresponding fixture. Another draw is available at 14/5 with a goalless draw on offer at 14/1.

Top Tip: Over 2.5 goals at 4/6

Rochdale v Oldham Athletic

Only goal difference separates Rochdale and Oldham in Sky Bet League 1 this season and both will be looking for their first win in four games.  The bookies expect this to be a close encounter with the draw priced at 23/10. Home advantage could prove the decisive factor and Rochdale are the slight favourites at 7/5 compared to the away win which is priced at 7/4.  Oldham haven’t kept a clean sheet in nine games but given they have scored in two-thirds of their away games this season, the value may be on both teams to score at 4/6 with Sky Bet.

Top Tip: Both teams to score at 4/6

Swindon Town v Fleetwood Town

Swindon are odds-on at 4/5 to continue their impressive form when they entertain an inconsistent Yeovil side that are unfancied by the bookies at 3/1.  The draw is priced at 13/5 but Fleetwood haven’t drawn a game since September.  Swindon have scored in every one of their home games this season, with two thirds of their league games finishing with at least three goals. Over 2.5 goals in the match is priced at 5/6 with Sky Bet. Swindon striker Michael Smith is the 7/2 favourite to open the scoring, while Fleetwood trio Stephen Dobbie, Martin Paterson and Tom Hitchcock are all priced up at 8/1.

Top Tip: Over 2 .5 goals at 5/6

Yeovil Town v Preston North End

Yeovil ended their eight-game winless streak last weekend with a 2-1 victory away at Notts County. They are 12/5 underdogs to make it two wins in a row against a Preston team that  managed to halt a winless run when they defeated Sky Bet League 1 leaders Bristol City last Saturday. That win cemented North End’s position in third and they are 21/20 to continue their push for automatic promotion with all three points this weekend. With only one clean sheet at Huish Park all season, it is unlikely Yeovil will be able to prevent high-flying Preston from scoring but with the home advantage you may fancy them to also get on the scoresheet and both teams to score is 4/5 with Sky Bet.

Top Tip: Both teams to score at 4/5
