The 27 year old will stay until 3rd January 2015

Goalkeeper Scott Davies has extended his loan stay with Morecambe until 3rd January 2015.

The shot-stopper had initially signed a one month loan with the Shrimps at the end of October, but manager Jim Bentley has opted to extend that deal.

Davies has appeared four times for Morecambe so far this season, and kept a clean sheet in their recent home win over Bury.

The 27 year old came through the youth system at Morecambe, making 21 appearances for the club before his move to Highbury in 2010.

He helped the Shrimps into the Football League for the first time in their history when he started at Wembley in the 2007 Conference Play-Off final win over Exeter City.
