House parents will care for the welfare of the Club's young players

Fleetwood Town Football Club is looking to recruit House Parents who will be responsible for supporting the needs and welfare of the young players living in the Club’s accommodation facilities, The Lodge Hotel. The Houseparent’s will live and work on site.

This is a unique opportunity to provide a positive contribution to the professional and personal development of young athletes.

The posts available are as follows:

Full Time House Parents 

One Couple, whose salary and benefits package is to be discussed at interview stage, will be dependent on experience.

Both full time house parents will live on-site on a full time basis. As set out below they will be required, between them, to work from Monday morning through to Saturday morning, throughout the ‘football year’.
 
Full Time House Parent A will work between the hours of 8am and 7pm Monday – Friday, inclusive, and their duties will include;

- Setting Out and Clearing up of breakfast
- Cooking of Evening Meal, delivery of, and clearing up.
- Cleaning of communal areas and outside areas
- Emptying rubbish bins
- Overseeing guests arrivals and departures
- The general welfare of those using the facility
- Changing of any bedding for temporary visitors

Full Time House Parent B will work between the hours of 7pm and 8am Monday – Saturday morning (sleeping hours 11pm-7am). You will be responsible for the welfare of the building and those using the facilities.

Part Time House Parents – Weekend Respite

Ideally one couple, however we will be will be willing to consider applications from two independent individuals, salary to be discussed at interview stage, dependent on experience.

A room will be made available to the Part Time House Parents within The Lodge, for the Saturday and Sunday nights.

Part Time House Parent C will work between the hours of 8am and 7pm Saturday and Sunday, and duties will include,

- Washing of all bedding (and leaving on each bed for players to make their own beds)
- Make beds up for any ‘temporary visitors’
- Cleaning of all bathrooms (players will be given duties to clean bathrooms but this will need full further attention at weekends when most players have gone home)
- Setting Out and Clearing up of Breakfast (only for a small number of players)
- Cooking of Evening Meal, delivery of, and clearing up. (only for a small numbers of players)
- Overseeing guests arrivals and departures
- The general welfare of those using the facility
 
Part Time House Parent D will work between the hours of 7pm and 8am Saturday and Sunday (sleeping hours 11pm-7pm), duties will include,

- Overseeing guests arrivals and departures
- The general welfare of those using the facility
- Supporting the work of Person C
