Town welcome Keith Hill's side to the Fylde Coast

Jamie Proctor is relishing a return to Highbury this weekend as Town go in search of three points in front of their own supporters.

The Cod Army suffered their first loss in three games at the Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday, as first half goals from James Coppinger and Curtis Main won the game for Doncaster.

Graham Alexander’s side now have the luxury of back-to-back games on home soil, with Rochdale and Bradford City set to arrive on the Fylde Coast.

Speaking ahead of the Dale fixture, Proctor said: “Saturday’s game will be another tough one for us. It’s up to us to bounce back now after the disappointment of last week.

“We’ve got to put that behind us though. I thought we played well in certain spells but the two goals in quick succession killed us really.

“We were high in confidence and playing some good stuff before last week’s game, so to go there and not put in a performance was disappointing.

“We had two good games against Rochdale last year and picked up a good win at their place. They’re always a tough side who play good football.

“Home games in front of our fans are great as we’ve got the support there. The next couple of games at home will be just as difficult as each other.

“They’re two really strong teams who will probably do well this year. Bradford haven’t started too well but Rochdale have kicked on from last year.

“Whoever plays up front will look to play well together and feed each off each other. All the strikers have got goals already and it was something we were lacking last year.

“We took a little knock in confidence when we weren’t scoring as many last season, so hopefully the partnerships we’ve got now can flourish.”
