Manager takes his team to Millwall on Tuesday evening

Steven Pressley has said that his side fear no team in this division as they prepare to take on Neil Harris’ Millwall outfit in East London on Tuesday night.

A 1-1 draw at home to Oldham Athletic on Saturday afternoon extended Town’s unbeaten league run to five games which kept them in 19th place.

The Lions were beaten 2-1 at Coventry City, and despite taking the lead were pegged back in the second half as John Fleck and Marcus Tudgay notched for the Sky Blues.

Fleetwood were victorious over Millwall in the reverse fixture on the Fylde Coast earlier in the season, and will be looking to do the double at The Den.

Ahead of the game, Pressley said: “Millwall are a side who currently sit in the Play-Off places so it shows the enormity of the task ahead of us tomorrow evening.

“I’ve said this before though and that we don’t really have a fear of anybody. We genuinely believe if we play to our levels then we can win the game.

“We gave an excellent performance against them at home and have to look to not only emulate that but improve on it. That’s what we’ll set out to do.

“They’re a very physical team who are direct in their approach but do it very well. They ask questions of you in terms of the basics of football.

“If we don’t do the basics well tomorrow then they’ll punish us, and that’s one thing we’ll be stressing to them. We have to do those basics exceptionally well.

“My players are extremely confident at the moment because we’ve played well now over a period of time. Our performances are not that of a team in our position.”
