Event held on Wednesday 9th September
Fleetwood Town Football Club hosted the quarterly Wyred Up event last week at Highbury Stadium.Over 60 representatives turned up from numerous local businesses on Wednesday 9th September.
Each networking event is tailored to maximise local opportunities for local businesses by hosting relevant guest speakers, plenty of valuable networking time and working towards strengthening the local economy.
Organised by Wyre Council, the networking events are held at different locations in the surrounding area and this time around, it was Fleetwood Town’s chance to play host.
It was a casino themed event which featured six business related topics at six different casino styled tables. The topics were procurement, Wyre local plan, tourism and training, planning and town centre project plan.
The final table was a roulette table based on Blackpool and Fylde college being the only educational establishment in the UK to run a croupier course.
