Spanish outfit finished in 15th place last season
Fleetwood Town Football Club are delighted to confirm they will host Spanish La Liga side Getafe at Highbury in a pre-season fixture on Friday 31st July (K.O 7.45pm)It will be the first time the Club have faced a Spanish side at Highbury, and will be a fantastic opportunity for Graham Alexander’s side to test themselves against competitive opponents.
Azulones finished the 2014/15 campaign in 15th place on 37 points, and narrowly avoided the drop into the Segunda Division.
Ticket prices (in all areas) for the game is as follows:
Adults - £12.50
Concessions (Over 65’s and Under 18’s) - £7.50
Under 16’s - £2.50
Under 5’s - Free
*please note season ticket holders will receive free entry for the pre-season friendly to be played at Highbury on Tuesday 28th July (details of the opponent will be announce in the coming days)
Town visit AFC Fylde on the 9th July for their first pre-season game of the new campaign, while they take on Borussia Dortmund ‘B' in Germany a week later.
Upon their return, Alexander will take his men to Scottish Premier League side Kilmarnock on the 25th July before facing Getafe.
