Barry Nicholson's side ended tour of Austria convincingly
Fleetwood Town’s development squad won convincingly against ASV Hinterbrühl in what was their final game of their tour of Austria.The contest was very much a one sided affair from start to finish, with Town dominating possession and scoring a number of goals in the process.
Barry Nicholson’s side remained professional throughout and moved the ball around impressively to punish their opponents.
After the game, he said: "This was a totally different game to the Rapid Vienna fixture last Saturday.
“Although the opposition was not of the same standard, the lads carried out everything I asked of them.
“We passed the ball well, and scored some really good goals. Hopefully after the defeat last weekend, being able to score a few goals will give the lads a lot of confidence.
"I'm really happy with the way the lads have applied themselves over the last 13 days. We have worked extremely hard, and hopefully that will pay off when we get back home."
