Sessions are growing on a weekly basis
Fleetwood Town had a dream start to the Football League Trust’s female football development programme as they met all term one targets of which they retained 100% of programme participants.At present the team are working with Rossall Private School to introduce football to their students. Previously the school had never delivered any football to their female pupils, therefore Fleetwood Town were keen to change this.
The Trust went into the school delivering a number of taster sessions whilst mentoring PE teachers who had never delivered any football.
The sessions are growing on a weekly basis and the work will continue until the school can sustain this for the future.
