Welshman will remain at Highbury until the end of the season
Fleetwood Town Football Club can confirm the signing of Bristol City striker Wes Burns on an emergency loan deal until May 8th 2016.The Welshman has featured 17 times for City in all competitions this season, and netted his only goal in a 1-0 win over Middlesbrough in January.
A product of the Robins’ youth system, Burns has spent time on loan at Forest Green Rovers, Oxford United and most recently Cheltenham Town.
Burns will go straight into the squad for Saturday afternoon’s Sky Bet League One fixture against Scunthorpe United at Highbury Stadium.
