Cup opponents decided
Fleetwood Town’s opponents for the Final Third Development League Cup have been decided, with the Cod Army set to face Wigan Athletic, Tranmere Rovers and Morecambe in Group D.First up for Fleetwood is a home game against Championship outfit Wigan Athletic at Highbury. The match will be played on Tuesday 9th September, 2pm kick-off.
Three weeks later, Town will head to neighbours Morecambe on Tuesday 30th September, 2pm kick-off at the Globe Arena.
The final group match will see Fleetwood face Tranmere Rovers on Wednesday 8th October, 2pm kick-off. The location of the match is yet to be confirmed.
