Ticket and travel info for Cheltenham clash

Fleetwood Town will make their second trip to the Abbey Business Stadium this season when they make the long trip down to Gloucestershire on Good Friday

Graham Alexander’s side visited Cheltenham's home at the start of November when they faced non-league outfit Gloucester City in the First Round of the FA Cup, where they ran out 4-1 winners.

After making the play-offs in the previous two seasons, Mark Yates’ Cheltenham side have slipped away this campaign and reside amongst the sides battling in midtable, but Fleetwood will go into the game looking to record their first victory over the Robins at the fourth attempt.

The Cod Army fell to a 2-0 home defeat just before Christmas, and in their last trip to Whaddon Road, Fleetwood came away with a 2-2 draw after recently departed winger, Junior Brown, struck deep into injury-time to ensure Fleetwood returned to Fylde Coast with a point.

How to get there?

Leave the M5 at junction 10 and take the A4019 towards Cheltenham. Keep straight on through the traffic lights, until you come to large roundabout (there is a McDonalds on the left), at which you turn left.

Continue up this road going over a double mini roundabout. Keep going for about 300 yards and then turn right into Swindon Lane.

Go over the level crossing and straight over the next roundabout (signposted Prestbury) passing the race course on your left.

Turn right into Albert Road (signposted Gloucestershire University) and at the bottom at the roundabout turn left into Prestbury Road, (the ground is signposted from here) and then further down Prestbury Road, turn right into Whaddon Road. The ground is down on the left.

Parking

Car parking is limited at the Abbey Business Stadium but you can pre-book a car park space on a matchday by contacting Jennie Thomas on 01242 588101 or jennie.thomas@ctfc.com.

Matchday parking does coast £5 per vehicle. Street parking in the immediate vicinity is also restricted. The club does, however, operate a FREE Matchday Park and Ride Shuttle Service from the nearby Cheltenham Racecourse.
