Town chief picks up prestigious award
Fleetwood Town are delighted to announce that head coach Uwe Rosler has been named Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month for January.Rosler - who has guided Town to fourth in Sky Bet League One - has seen his side pick up 13 points out of a possible 15 in January, including a memorable 2-0 win at league leaders Sheffield United.
Uwe Rosler said on the award: “We as a team that we have got the recognition after getting 13 points out of 15 in January plus the cup games where we did well against Bristol City. As staff, we did really well and continue to look to build on that momentum into the next two games [against Rochdale and Bradford].
“We have to keep the standards high and keep the players on their toes. We need to keep progressing and developing our style of play to give ourselves more options without losing what already works for us.”
