Premier League referee to officiate game at Gigg Lane
The match officials for Saturday's Sky Bet League One fixture with Bury have been announced.Regular Premier League referee Kevin Friend will be the man in the middle at Gigg Lane, taking charge of his 26th match of the season. Of those 25 previous matches, 16 have been at the top level, with Friend most recently taking charge of Manchester United vs Bournemouth at Old Trafford earlier in the month.
The Bristol-born official has yet to take charge of a match in Sky Bet League One this season. He will be assisted by Scott Ledger and Matthew Wilkes.
Jeremy Simpson will be on fourth official duties.
