        ·Before moving to stadium:mk, the Dons played their home games at The National Hockey Stadium.

 

        ·In their first ever season as MK Dons, they only avoided relegation because of a 10-point deduction given to Wrexham.

 

        ·In 2008 they won the Football League Trophy (now Checkatrade Trophy) beating Grimsby Town 2-0 at Wembley.

 

        ·The South Stand at stadium:mk is known as the Cowshed, due to Milton Keynes’ reputation for its Concrete Cow structures.

 

        ·Dons consider Peterborough United their biggest rivals. The towns’ two ice hockey teams have a fierce rivalry pre-dating the football.

 

        ·Music pioneer Jim Marshall supported the Dons until his death in 2012.

 

        ·The Dons have a growing reputation for youth development, having produced players such as Dele Alli. Alli is the first MK Dons academy graduate to play for the senior England side.

 

        ·Champions League winning manager Roberto di Matteo was in charge during the 2008-09 season, leading them to third place in League One.

 

        ·The record attendance for an MK Dons home match is 28,127 for an FA Cup tie with Chelsea in January 2016. They lost 5-1 with Darren Potter getting the only goal for the Dons.

 

        ·Their 7-0 victory over Oldham Athletic in December 2014 is the biggest in their history.
