Town's FA Cup clash with Southport to be televised

Game will now take place on Monday 7th November, kick-off 7:45pm

Fleetwood Town's Emirates FA Cup First Round clash against Southport will be screened live on BT Sport.

The tie will be played at Merseyrail Community Stadium on Monday 7th November, kick-off 7:45pm.

On the news, chairman Andy Pilley said: "We are delighted to have been selected for BT Sports' live TV game, I think it's an exciting cup tie which will be worthy of an international audience.

"There's plenty of rivalry between the two clubs from our non-league days and it's a game I'm sure our supporters are looking forward to."

Tickets and travel for the match will be announced in due course.
