England face Italy in an U18s match at Fleetwood Town FC
Fleetwood Town are delighted to announce international football will be coming to Highbury Stadium next month.England’s U18s, led by head coach Neil Dewsnip, will face Italy on Thursday 1 September (7pm) at Fleetwood Town, kicking-off at 7pm.
On news of England coming to Highbury, chairman Andy Pilley said: “It’s a real honour to be able to host some of the countries top young talent here at Highbury.
“It will be a great event for us as a club and for the area as a whole and I’m delighted we have been selected to host this game.
“The squads will also train at our top class Poolfoot Farm facility ahead of the game, something we are very proud of.
“Hopefully a big crowd will turn up on the night and see some of the stars of the future."
