Active Change is a healthy lifestyle and behavioural change programme which helps people in drug treatment services stay drug free. The programme also aims to alleviate individuals with drug problems returning to the community from custodial prison sentences supporting them to change behaviours to break offending patterns.
It has been set up in partnership with Lancashire Sports CSI. The Challenge through Sport Initiative is an ambitious innovative partnership project to encourage more active and healthier lifestyles for adults in drug and alcohol recovery by getting involved in regular sport and physical activity
The weekly programme which takes place at Poolfoot Farm involves individuals taking part in physical activities and educational workshops.
