Town's CEO joins FA Council

Fleetwood Town’s Steve Curwood has been elected onto the FA Council.

The club’s chief executive will represent the Football League on a panel for the next twelve months.

The FA Council consists of 92 elected representatives from the FA Premier League, the EFL, County FAs, and the non-executive board of The Football Association.

The Council meets to decide the major policies of The FA

“It’s an honour to be able to represent the EFL on the council and I can’t wait to get involved,” said Curwood.

Curwood will attend the Summer Meeting of the council next Friday at Wembley.
