Uwe Rosler says his side need to be more ‘ruthless’ after falling to a third straight defeat after a narrow 2-1 loss to high flying Bradford City.

Bobby Grant gave Town the lead, but two goals either side of half-time from Felipe Morias and Billy Clarke (penalty) gave the Bantams the three points.

Rosler is looking for a change of mentality from his squad.

“This group of players needs to learn to be ruthless in this league. We need to develop a winning mentality,” said Fleetwood’s Head Coach.

“We made too many mistakes in both boxes but were good in between the boxes we were very good.”

Morias’ goal was deep into first half stoppage, with Rosler disappointed with the way his side defended late on in the half.

“We can’t play offside on our 16 yards line,” he said.

“We normally don’t do that. In the second half, we gave away a penalty. On this day we shouldn’t have drawn, we should have won.

“I think one minute before half-time it wasn’t a bad performance. We were 1-0 in the first half which was rightly deserved then we decided to play offside with one minute to go.”
