Midfielder looks ahead to Lions clash

Bobby Grant says his Fleetwood Town side ‘fear no one’ ahead of Monday’s Sky Bet League fixture with Millwall at Highbury.

Grant scored a crucial goal at Peterborough on Friday, to set Town on their way to all three points and remain third in the table.

But with the Lions visiting Highbury on Monday, Grant is keen to build on that as we enter the final three games of the season.

“We are four points behind Bolton now, but it was all about getting to our target and we go from there,” said Grant.

“We don’t fear anyone, especially at home where we have a strong home record. We are looking forward to the game.

“It was all about grinding out the result on Friday, but now we move on to Millwall on Monday.”

Grant reserved praise for David Ball and Ashley Hunter, who he claimed were outstanding on Friday without getting the goals they deserved.

“I thought the first half we were outstanding.

“The front two [Ash Hunter and David Ball] set us off and I thought they were brilliant and even though they didn’t score the work rate was outstanding. We were really happy with the three points.

“[David] isn’t a selfish player. He understood that I was in a better position and he passed the ball and it was very unselfish of him.

“The work rate our front two showed for the team on and off the ball deserved a goal, but we got three points.”
