Two of Sky Bet League One’s form sides clash this Saturday as Charlton Athletic take on Fleetwood Town this weekend at The Valley (3pm k/o).

Karl Robinson’s men are currently unbeaten in their last five matches, whereas The Cod Army are unbeaten in their last 12 games league fixtures.

LAST TIME OUT

A last minute equaliser from David Ball prevented Fleetwood falling to their first defeat in 11 games. Uwe Rosler’s side faced Southend at Highbury and the visitors went ahead through Anthony Wordsworth late in the first half. Town left it late but the strike from Ball was worth the wait as his tenth of the season kept Fleetwood on a club record 12 game unbeaten run.

The Addicks had an impressive win over high flying Bolton Wanderers at the Macron Stadium despite going down to 10 men early in the first half.

Zach Clough put Bolton ahead but goals from Patrick Bauer and Nathan Byrne completed the turn-around before half time. The visitors hung on to record a superb win and kick started their push towards the play off positions in Sky Bet League One.

OPPOSITION VIEW

Charlton manager Karl Robinson said in his pre-match interview:

“It’s a big game this weekend for both teams and I think that Uwe’s done an unbelievable job.

“It won’t be an easy game but if we want to be in the mix these are the teams we need to compete with.

“We need to be prepared and ready for their attacking threat which there is plenty of it, they’ve got some really top players and Uwe’s got them playing to the best of their ability.”
