Defender joins Town on loan until the end of the season
Fleetwood Town are delighted to announce the signing of Preston North End defender Ben Davies.
Davies, who can operate at left-back or central defence, has joined the Cod Army on loan from the Lilywhites until the end of the 2016/17 season.
The 21 year-old made his North End debut in 2013 as a 17 year-old against Coventry, before earning himself a one-year contract extension at Deepdale.
Since then, Davies has had loan spells at York City, Tranmere Rovers, Southport and most recently, a successful spell at Newport County.
Davies will wear the number 37 shirt, and is eligible for today’s Sky Bet League One fixture with Shrewsbury Town.
