There’s lots going on across the club this week, with a total of five games across our Men’s, Academy teams and the Wrens Ladies.

Here is everything you can expect on fleetwoodtownfc.com over the coming week:

MONDAY

1pm - Crewe Alexandra U21 v Fleetwood Town U21

The Development Squad are back in action this week, and will make the two hour trip down to Crewe with eyes on getting back to winning ways. Nathan Pond's side narrowly lost out 3-2 on Thursday afternoon to Millwall, with the winner coming minutes from full-time.

Key updates from the game will be shared across the Academy social channels, starting with team news at 12pm – regular posts will follow from kick-off, with a post-match report going on our website as soon as possible.

THURSDAY

1pm – Charlie Adam’s press conference

The gaffer will face the media with his pre-Burton Albion thoughts, alongside a player, and these interviews will be posted on the website and social channels later that day – clips will be posted to social media previewing the game against the Brewers at Highbury on Saturday.

SATURDAY

11am – Cardiff City U18 v Fleetwood Town U18

Our Under-18s will line up for their only Professional Development League fixture of the week on Saturday morning when they travel to South Wales to face Cardiff City in an 11am kick-off.

Key updates from the game will be shared across the Academy social channels, starting with team news at 10am – regular posts will follow from kick-off, with a post-match report going on our website as soon as possible.

12:30pm - Fleetwood Town v Burton Albion

Charlie Adam’s side will be in action on Saturday afternoon as they face Burton Albion in the final game of the 2023/24 Sky Bet League One season. Town won their final away match of the season thanks to an injury time winner from Xavier Simons.

Despite picking up three points, Burton's result against Reading meant that Town were relegated to Sky Bet League Two.

Pre-match posts – including previews, injury updates, and streaming information – will be posted on our website and social channels ahead of the game, with team news to be posted at 11:30am in the usual fashion.

All the usual post-match content including the match report, interviews, and the match gallery, as well as the two-minute highlights package, will be published for you to enjoy if you missed the action.

SUNDAY

The Wrens are also playing two league matches at Highbury Stadium on Sunday 28 April, so put the date in your diaries!

The First team will play their league match at 11:30am, with the Reserves kicking-off their fixture at 2:30pm, so why not enjoy the double header at the end of the regular 2023/24 season.
