Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies were unlucky not to take anything from their game against Mossley Hill LFC on Sunday as they lost 1-0 at the Mossley Hill Athletics Club.
Dave Butler’s ladies – who are still in fifth position in the North West Womens Regional League – played valiantly throughout their fixture but were unfortunate to not come away with the points.
Dani Cross was named player of the match on the day and has been a consistent performer for the Wrens all season.
It’s a weekend coming up for the Wrens Ladies as they are hosting Manchester Stingers at Poolfoot Farm (2pm kick-off), with the reserve side taking on Penrith AFC Ladies Development Squad at School Road (2pm kick-off).
