Fleetwood Town’s final full day in Portugal saw the chairman come to the training camp to watch the players train, and also a pre-season friendly against Millwall in Albufeira.
The day started off with a light breakfast before heading out onto the grass for the final training session whilst at Browns Sports Resort. The players ran through scenarios for the upcoming pre-season games as chairman Andy Pilley watched on.
Everyone then relaxed for an hour before heading into lunch – and a pre-match meal. Once everyone was finished, they boarded the coach and headed over to Albufeira for their pre-season friendly against Sky Bet Championship side Millwall.
Fleetwood played well throughout – with the cod army turning up in their masses – as a mix of new and young players narrowly lost to a vastly more experienced Millwall, due to a late Shaun Williams goal.

The staff and players then headed back to the training camp for a late meal and rest before tomorrow’s flight back to England.
