Graham Alexander, Manager
Graham Alexander was announced as the new Town boss on Tuesday 4 December 2012.
Craig Madden, Assistant Manager
Began his professional career at Bury in 1977. He spent nine years at Gigg Lane, making almost 300 league appearances and scoring 129 goals. He still holds the record for the most goals (35) in a season (1981-82).
A short spell at West Brom followed, before he joined Blackpool, then under the guidance of Sam Ellis, in February 1987. Moved to non-league Fleetwood Town, where his scoring touch continued. In 2001, Madden became caretaker manager of Stockport County and remained with the club coaching Stockport’s youth team.
In June 2010 Madden was appointed assistant manager at newly promoted Town, becoming Micky Mellon’s number two. He is now assistant to Graham Alexander.
Steve MaCauley, First Team Coach
A former Fleetwood player, MaCauley spent ten years at Crewe Alexandra as a centre-half under Dario Gradi. After spells at Rochdale, Macclesfield and Bamber Bridge, he rejoined the Cod Army as physio and a member of the coaching staff.
He left the club at the end of the 2007/08 season to concentrate on his physiotherapy practice only to be appointed caretaker manager a few months later following the dismissal of manager Tony Greenwood.
And he has remained a valuable member of the backroom team, working under Micky Mellon, and now Graham Alexander, as First Team Coach.
Chris Lucketti, Coach
Chris joined the club along with Graham Alexander on Tuesday 4 December 2012.
