A 3-1 victory over Gloucester City, and an eighth straight league win since Boxing Day, keeps Fleetwood Town three points clear at the top of the Blue Square North. First half goals from a Sean Clancy header and two in five minutes from Nick Rogan took the game beyond Gloucester’s reach. Town will be disappointed, however, not to have capitalised after the break, allowing City back in with a 63rd penalty converted by Smith after he had been fouled by Steve McNulty.
