Summary
Fleetwood Town 3-1 Hinckley Utd
Blue Square North
Saturday 30 January 2010
Att 1442
Fleetwood Town maintained top spot in the Blue Square North with an impressive 3-1 victory over fellow promotion hopefuls Hinckley United. Town got the best possible start with Adam Warlow turning in Sean Clancy’s cross after just one minute for his 18th of the season.
Hinckley threatened and equalised through defender James Mace but Jamie Mullan’s first of the season just before the break gave Town a 2-1 interval lead. The home side, in front of 1,442 supporters, dominated the second period with the hard-working Nick Rogan adding a third to clinch victory.
Anthony Barry put in a tidy 90 minutes for his Fleetwood debut and played his part in Rogan’s 7th of the campaign.
