Fleetwood Town firmly put Tuesday's draw against bottom-placed Harrogate Town behind them as they thump Redditch United at Highbury.
An opener by left-back Alan Wright after just 35 second was followed by a first half brace from man of the match Jamie McGuire.
Five more goals followed in the second period with Jamie Milligan, Adam Warlow (2) and Nick Rogan (2) all adding their names to the score sheet.
Town move up one place to sixth in the Blue Square North in front of over 1100 Cod Army.
Alan Wright
"The ball came across the area and I had plenty of time so I took a touch and put it in the far corner. The ball bent round the keeper and it was the start of a good afternoon.
We wanted to send out a message today to other teams in the league. We didn’t take our foot off the pedal in the second half and eventually came out with a massive 8-0 result."
