It is with regret the club announces the passing of one it’s far flung Cods – Phil McGarvey. Phil was brought up in the port and lived on Chatsworth Avenue and attended St Wulstan's Primary School. He then went on to St Joseph's College in Blackpool.
Phil finally settled in Florida, where he died peacefully at the end of July.
A memorial service will be held on Friday 14th August at 1:30pm at St Nicolas Church, Fleetwood. A reception at the North Euston Hotel follows.
